Smell gas in your cab? Your old vapor separator may be missing or damaged. We’ve engineered a replacement part that fixes all the weak points of the original design, and bolts right in with no modifications to your truck.
This evaporative separator works for 1973 to 1979 40-series Land Cruisers (FJ40, BJ40, FJ45) with a wide cover plate using three bolts.
Note for Cruisers Manufactured Feb 1973 - Jan 1975: All our fuel separators use a smaller top-port for 6mm fuel hose (to be used with check valve 90917-10020, still available from Toyota). If you need a larger port for 8mm hose (which is period-correct for this year range), let us know on your order or contact us at sales@compyfab.com.

Made From 100% PA12 Nylon: Ideal for exposure to fuel / solvents, with flexibility to withstand vibrations.
Brass Hose Adapters: Our vapor separators have reinforced ports, are drilled/tapped for 1/8″ NPT threads, and come with brass hose adapters pre-installed. Hose clamps are included for a complete install.
Pressure-Tested: Every fuel vapor separator is pressure and leak-tested to 15PSI before shipping. No more gas smell!
Cleaner Look: Once installed, you only see the edge of the fuel separator. We integrated mounting threads using brass heat-set inserts for a cleaner look (no rusty steel mounting clips).
Proper Fasteners: Our vapor separators come with Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) class-4 M6 SEMS bolts (integrated lock washer + flat washer) to match the hardware in your rig.
